Portuguese Film maker in McCann Hate Outrage

E-mail Print PDF

There’s nothing like a good party to bring out the extremists and it’s all kicking off on the far right wing Portuguese film maker Joana Morais' blog. Morais who has been involved in the Madeleine McCann investigation from the very early days that Madeleine went missing is a no holds barred, spit and sawdust type of blog that firmly puts the disappearance and alleged death of Madeleine McCann firmly at the parents feet. Being of this opinion, Morais’ blog drags in the hardliners, McCann haters and extremists like moths to a light bulb. The extremists never to pass up on a good opportunity to stick the boot in to anyone who doesn’t tow the party line have chosen Morais’s blog to unleash another salvo of abuse at not only the McCanns this time but anyone who attended their party last evening in London.

The usual suspects lined up to have a go from the comfort and anonymity of their computers to threaten to attack Gerry McCann, comparing Gerry to the likes of the Kray Twins, Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe, Myra Hindley and OJ Simpson and questioning whether those celebrities in attendance were sex offenders.

Morais has to review all posts made to her site and therefore we can assume that she whole heartily agrees when her members and readers express a desire to assault Mr McCann and call everyone in attendance that evening every name under the sun. Even going as far as to float the idea of protests and incitement to civil disobedience.

One outraged member said “Gerry McCann has the kind of face that cries out to be given a slap. And I feel certain that, before long, someone will oblige.”

Equally disgusting was this comment "it is possible that those invited people for tonight are also paedophiles"

Morais believes in the right to freedom of speech, something that I consider absolutely paramount yet although I realise the need for free speech and what that entails. Even so I do find it an unpleasant and sickening experience reading through the site.

It takes a special kind of real scum to sneer at and denigrate a church service for a missing child; one can only assume Ms Morais felt that was acceptable too. :angry-red:

... but I shall defend to the.

Actually no, it's just nasty and pointless. but it's good that they can publish, by their deeds ye shall know them. ergo, let the nasty buggers rant and condem themselves.
